Wayfinders Victorious at Kyiv, 3-1

The Waikiki Wayfinders used a great performance from Cameron Elson, the 5th overall pick in the 2045 draft, to beat the Kyiv Cossacks, 3-1, at Kyiv Grounds. Elson, the winner, moves to 2-3. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. Danny Dudley sewed up the save, his 1st.
Tyler Farrell, who finished 3rd in the FL in hits with 203 in 2043, had a direct impact on the outcome. Farrell contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Waikiki up, 2-0.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Elson.
The Wayfinders with just their 7th win in 24 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
