|
The Buffalo Buffalo picked up a win at The Greenhouse, knocking off the Havana Sugar Kings, 6-2. Starting pitcher Jimmy Miller was a big reason why. Miller yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 3-2. Havana is 13-13 after the loss.
In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, the Sugar Kings allowed the Buffalo to take a 3-1 lead on a base hit and Havana error.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Nagy told the Buffalo Observer.
