Jim Steeb, who is tied for 2nd in the AL in strikeouts with 45, was locked in. The left-hander led the Brooklyn Knights to a 6-2 win against the Buffalo Buffalo at Brooklyn Coliseum. The victory makes Brooklyn 14-11, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2047.

Steeb was in the zone all game. He frustrated Buffalo hitters while giving the Knights 8 innings of quality work. Steeb threw 126 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 10 punchouts.

"I was just trying to be aggressive and fill up the zone," said Steeb.
