Beavers Suffer 5-4 Road Loss
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors picked up a win at The Nest, taking down the Portland Beavers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Jon Gilson was a big reason why. Gilson picked up the win for Hanoi, going 7 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. The save went to Noah Powell, his 5th this season.

The Dragon Warriors got a big at-bat from second baseman Jamie Williams. For the game, Williams went 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Hanoi a 3-1 lead.

"Jon just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Hanoi manager GM Schnee.

The defeat makes Portland 13-11.
