Archies Trip Buffalo, 3-2, in Extra Innings
Buffalo wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Glenn DePue, falling to the St. Louis Archies, 3-2. DePue threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Alex Garcia earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-1. The defeat makes Buffalo 10-14.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 13th, two-time Great Glove Award winner Brian Cifelli had a chance to be the hero. Buffalo pitcher Tim Ocampo had other ideas. But with no outs, Cifelli hit a sacrifice fly. The Archies had themselves a dramatic win.

"It was bedlam at the end," Cifelli said.
