The home crowd had a good time watching the Osaka Takoyaki and Arizona Desert Storm get after it.
Arizona pitcher Mario Martinez had a large part in his team subduing the Osaka Takoyaki, 4-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Martinez, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 11, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Esteban Vega closed out the game, earning his 3rd save.
