Yellowstone Makes Havana 3-2 Losers
|
Yellowstone starter Art Madsen pitched effectively against the Havana Sugar Kings at Volcano Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. The loss puts Havana at 14-8.
Had Ryan Chiasson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Chiasson hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Super Volcano.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Madsen.
