Luis Espinoza, who is tied for 10th in the FL with a 3.24 ERA, had a strong outing for the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs against the East Haddam Hyenas at Ballpark of East Haddam. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. The Hyenas fall to 9-14 and continue their sputtering start to the 2050 season.

Sudbury used the timely hitting of Albert Bencomo to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blueberry Bulldogs on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Luis was throwing strikes, locating well," said Sudbury manager Coach John.
