A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Detroit Pizzas and Arizona Desert Storm.

Adrian Ressler left his imprint on the 9-3 Detroit win against the Arizona Desert Storm. Ressler, who finished 3rd in the AL in triples with 3 last year, was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Desert Storm drop to 8-15, as their stumbling start to the 2051 season continues.

With Detroit leading 4-3 in the top of the sixth, Chris Adams hit a 2-run single off Arizona pitcher Ronaldo Sardinha. It put the Pizzas ahead 6-3.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Ressler told the Detroit Times.
