Hamilton Helps Archies Defeat Red Storm, 13-5
The St. Louis Archies beat the Lansing Red Storm, 13-5, at Team2 Ballpark. St. Louis first baseman Pat Hamilton had an outstanding performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The winner in relief was Justin Donahue. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Archies, now 18-5, have been on a roll in the early going.

Hamilton had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Archies went on to win.
