Jim Garnet had a good game, but he could not keep the Osaka Takoyaki from falling, 6-5, to the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs at Bulldogs Ballpark. The Osaka first baseman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 in the loss. Dan Bowen earned save number 1 this season. The loss puts Osaka at 14-8.

Albert Bencomo, who is tied for 4th in the FL in RBI with 18, helped out the Sudbury cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder was 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
