Buffalo Topples Hanoi, 5-2
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Hanoi Dragon Warriors and Buffalo Buffalo get after it.
Buffalo picked up a win at The Greenhouse, bumping off the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, 5-2. Pitcher Jimmy Miller was a major reason the Buffalo emerged victorious. Gary Clark finished to wrap up his 1st save.
Buffalo first baseman Paul Rader contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Buffalo ahead, 4-2.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager GM Patman.
With the loss, Hanoi is 0-3.
