Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Hyenas
Dave Bland left his imprint on the 8-7 East Haddam win against the Arizona Desert Storm. Bland, who finished 2nd in the FL in home runs with 50 in 2045, was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. East Haddam reliever Amari Smith got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Josh Kern was tagged with the loss. Arizona falls to 12-8.

The decisive moment came in the bottom of the tenth for East Haddam. That's when Jared Gonsoulin hit a run-scoring double off former first overall pick Josh Kern to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Gonsoulin said in his postgame press conference.
