Havana turned a good performance from starting pitcher Fernando Moreno into a 4-2 triumph over the Buffalo Buffalo at Sugardome II. Moreno got the win, improving to 4-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 5 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Eric McKinney finished to wrap up his 9th save.

Jay Wesner dealt the Buffalo a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Havana leading 1-0, Wesner, the 3rd overall pick in the 2042 draft, hit a 1-2 sinker for a run-scoring single.

"Fernando is a gamer," said Havana manager The Baron.

The triumph makes Havana 13-7, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2050.
