Sudbury and Lansing duked it out and the Blueberry Bulldogs came out victorious.

The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs topped the Lansing Red Storm, 10-7, in Federation League action at Bulldogs Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Sudbury first baseman Josh Deere. The defeat makes the Red Storm 7-13.

Deere was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once against the Red Storm. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a run-scoring single that put Sudbury in front, 1-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Deere told the Sudbury Daily. "It's as simple as that."
