Cossacks Win, 5-1, Versus Los Angeles

The Kyiv Cossacks picked up a win at Sportsman's Park, knocking off the Los Angeles Kings, 5-1. On the mound for Kyiv was right-hander Adam Dodson. He played a key role in the triumph. Los Angeles now has a record of 7-12.
Kyiv took advantage of an error in the top of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Rod Garcia hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Cossacks in front, 3-1.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Dodson.
