At Desert Storm Stadium, the Arizona Desert Storm and Kyiv Cossacks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Kyiv Cossacks starter Zachery DeShields pitched a strong game against the Arizona Desert Storm at Desert Storm Stadium, leading the Cossacks to victory, 6-3. Cheong-won Hwang collected his 2nd save.

In the top of the first, Noah Abitia ambushed a first pitch splitter from Mario Martinez and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Kyiv a quick 2-0 lead.

"Zachery made his pitches," said Kyiv manager Boris Lahutin.

The Desert Storm, 7-12, continue their sluggish start to the 2051 campaign.
