The Buffalo Buffalo defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 5-3, in Alliance League action at The Greenhouse. Buffalo pitcher Tim Ocampo had a standout performance. Buffalo reliever Glenn DePue was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Steve Wilkerson took the loss. The Kings drop to 6-13.

Buffalo took the lead, 5-3, on Paul Rader's 4th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Los Angeles pitcher Jeremy Valentine in the bottom of the eighth.

Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
