The Lansing Red Storm picked up a win at Ballpark of Atlanta, knocking off the Los Angeles Kings, 6-3. Starting pitcher Vicente Tejeda was a big reason why. The winner was Tejeda. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Jeremy Valentine. Jeff Pledger earned the save, his 5th, for the Red Storm.

Jayden Miller had a big 2-run double for the Red Storm in the bottom of the first inning. With Lansing leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Jeremy Valentine and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Storm ahead, 4-0.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Lansing manager GM TDen.

The Kings fall to 6-12.
