The St. Louis Archies beat the Pittsburgh Yinzers, 6-5, at Team2 Ballpark. The Archies got a fine performance from catcher David Funk, who went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Joe Braun snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. Brian Collins suffered the loss. Jason Derrick closed it out for his 6th save.

In the bottom of the sixth, St. Louis right fielder Josh Robertson gave his team the lead. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Twinkletoes hit his 4th home run of the year. Pittsburgh pitcher Brian Collins surrendered it. With that, the Archies jumped in front, 6-5.

"In this profession, you've got to put the good and the bad behind you quickly," Pittsburgh skipper Billy Caceres said.

The Yinzers fall to 7-9 and continue their uneven start to the 2048 season.
