The Buffalo Buffalo did just enough to secure a victory over the Lansing Red Storm, 4-3, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Atlanta. Nobody did more than pitcher Glenn DePue. Randy Nelson snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 2 innings. He's now 2-1 on the season. The Red Storm, at 4-10, have stumbled out of the gate.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Omar Gallegos to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Buffalo on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said DePue, "and then get after it again."
