Dominant Performance by Foglesong in East Haddam Win
|
East Haddam got a first-rate effort from pitcher Mark Foglesong, who frustrated Dublin hitters en route to a 3-1 Hyenas triumph at Porters Ballpark. Jason Derrick picked up his 5th save of the season. The Porters fall to 4-8 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2049 season.
Foglesong tossed 112 pitches over 7 innings to clinch the win for the Hyenas. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.
"Mark just went about his business, throwing strikes," said East Haddam manager Joe Jankowski.
