Brooklyn-Portland Announce Swap Wednesday, January 13th , 2049 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Brooklyn Knights and the Portland Beavers. In the deal Brooklyn got 24-year old minor league 3B Mike Gummere from Portland and dealt 19-year old minor league 1B Chris Cruz, 20-year old minor league C Ziven Plyuskov, and 23-year old minor league RHP Steve Maldonado to the Beavers. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." |
